Hydraulic oil tank

Universal floor-mounted oil tank, designed for all types of machines and equipment featuring a hydraulic system, in which a specific amount of oilis required. The oil tank plays an important role in both open and closed hydraulic systems regarding heat dissipation from the oil and, through its appropriate design, supports filtration and control of maintaining the correct oil level and temperature. If you have any doubts about choosing a specific oil tank, please contact our Customer Service. Oil tanks are an essential component of every hydraulic system.

Types of oil tanks :

  • hydraulic oil tank 12l
  • hydraulic oil tank 15l
  • hydraulic oil tank 20l
  • hydraulic oil tank 40l
  • hydraulic oil tank 45l
  • hydraulic oil tank 60l
  • hydraulic oil tank 75l

Hydraulic pump tank - oil storage and system operation stabilization

Hydraulic pump tank is a component of the power hydraulics system responsible for oil storage, venting, and stabilizing the operation of the entire system. In practice, it serves not only as a „tank”, but also influences the cooling of the medium and the separation of contaminants. A properly selected tank for a hydraulic pump ensures a constant supply to the pump, eliminates cavitation and improves the durability of all system components. In hydraulic installations, the tank works with components such as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic filters or hydraulic hoses, creating a complete and efficient system. Its capacity should be matched to the pump's performance and the nature of the system's operation – a tank that is too small causes oil overheating and unstable operation, while one that is too large may be uneconomical and take up unnecessary space. In practice, a hydraulic pump tank is used in agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, mobile systems and hydraulic power units. It is an element that directly affects the oil's lifespan and the reliability of the entire power hydraulics system.

Purpose and functions of tanks

Hydraulic oil tanks are an extremely important element in power hydraulic systems. They perform several essential functions and provide appropriate operating conditions for the entire system. Here is some information about hydraulic oil tanks in power hydraulics:

  • Oil storage: Tanks serve as a storage place for hydraulic oil, which is necessary for the proper operation of the system. They provide the right amount of oil to meet the system's needs for lubrication, cooling and energy transmission.

  • Heat dissipation: During the operation of the hydraulic system, hydraulic oil can heat up due to the generated heat. Hydraulic oil tanks are equipped with appropriate cooling surfaces or heat exchangers that help in dissipating excessive heat from the oil and maintaining the proper operating temperature.

  • Contaminant settling: Tanks are also equipped with filtration systems or air separators that help in removing contaminants such as dust, fine metal particles or deposits that may be present in the hydraulic oil. Thanks to this, they protect the system from damage and loss of efficiency.

  • Oil level equalization: Hydraulic oil tanks are usually equipped with floats or level sensors that monitor the oil level in the tank. This allows for maintaining the correct oil level in the system and preventing shortages or excesses.

  • Overload protection: Hydraulic oil tanks are often equipped with pressure relief valves that protect the system against excessive pressure increase. If the pressure exceeds a set value, the valve opens and passes oil into the tank, preventing damage to other system components.

It is important that hydraulic oil tanks are appropriately selected for the needs of the power hydraulics system, taking into account its capacity, functions, filtration and cooling requirements. Additionally, maintenance and regular cleaning of the tank and oil replacement are necessary to maintain the proper operation of the hydraulic system and ensure its long
