Selecting the hydraulic hose diameter - tips 

Which hose diameter to choose? /The issue of selecting the appropriate hydraulic hose diameter is extremely important. Too small a hose diameter can cause oil heating in the hydraulic system. We recommend selecting the internal diameter based on information about oil flow Briefly, the recommended diameters include DN = internal diameter of the hydraulic hose 

• DN06 = 6mm = for systems with 20l flow 
• DN08 = 8mm = for systems with 30l flow

Crimped hydraulic hose is a complete hydraulic line prepared for operation in power hydraulic systems, consisting of a properly selected hose, fittings and ferrules permanently connected in the crimping process. A ready-made crimped hydraulic hose is immediately prepared for installation in a machine or system, which significantly shortens service time and eliminates the risk of incorrect component selection. What a crimped hydraulic hose consists of

Every hydraulic hose crimped consists of several precisely selected elements that together create a leak-proof and durable working line. The basis is the hydraulic hose, which can be made of synthetic rubber with steel braid (e.g., 1SN, 2SN, 4SP, 4SH) or in a specialized version, e.g., for high temperatures or aggressive media. The second element are hydraulic hose fittings, which are connectors that allow the hose to be connected to the system – these can be metric fittings, BSP, JIC, ORFS or NPT, depending on the application. Another important element are clamping ferrules, which are responsible for the permanent connection of the hose with the fitting. The ferrule is crimped using professional hydraulic hose crimping machines, which ensures the appropriate clamping force and full tightness of the system even at very high operating pressures. The whole creates a finished crimped hydraulic hose that is resistant to vibrations, variable pressures, and difficult working conditions.
