Heat shrink sleeves
Heat shrink sleeves are made of radiation-crosslinked polyolefins (including polyethylene). They provide excellent insulation and sealing. They create a protective, anti-corrosive, and decorative layer. They protect the conduit from corrosion. They have high resistance to varying weather conditions. They also protect against moisture. They take the shape of the object- adapting to the item they are shrunk onto and increasing its mechanical protection. Installation is very simple: just connect the wires, put on the sleeve, and heat it with a lighter or another device. After this operation, the sleeve will shrink by up to half of its volume. Wide operating temperature range-55 ℃ to 125 ℃. In our offer, we have sets in black or multi-colored versions.
What is a heat shrink sleeve?
Heat shrink tubing is a flexible material made of polymer that shrinks when exposed to heat, adhering closely to the surface it covers. It is a simple yet reliable solution used in the protection and insulation of cables, wires, and pipes. Heat shrink sleeves for cables are widely used in electrical, hydraulic, and industrial installations, providing durability, aesthetics, and safety of use.
Heat shrink tubing sets
Heat shrink tubing sets available at Hydron are kits consisting of elements with various diameters and lengths. This allows them to be easily adapted to a wide range of applications. Key features of heat shrink tubing include: Resistance to external factors – the sleeves protect against moisture, oils, UV radiation, and changing temperatures. Variety of sizes and colors – enables easy identification of wires in installations. Mechanical strength – protects cables from damage resulting from friction, bending, or abrasion. Easy installation – simply use a heat source for the sleeve to fit the cable.
Application of heat shrink sleeves for cables
Heat shrink sleeves are indispensable in many applications, such as: Electrical insulation – they prevent short circuits and increase installation safety. Cable repair – they allow for quick and durable repairs to wire insulation damage. Cable labeling – different sleeve colors facilitate the identification of individual wires in complex systems. Mechanical protection – they protect against friction, moisture, and chemical agents.
