In-tank filters for tanks (mounted on the tank cover or submerged in the working fluid) effectively trap solid contaminants generated during machine operation or entering from the environment. Application and technical characteristics of tank filters

Ensuring the appropriate cleanliness class of oil (according to ISO 4406) prevents seal erosion, pump seizure and blockage of directional control valves and valves. Tank-mounted filters perform various functions in the hydraulic system:

• Return filtration (return): Oil returning from the system enters the filter mounted on the top tank cover, where metal shavings and particles are trapped before being mixed back into the liquid in the tank.
• Suction filtration: Suction filters (so-called strainers) placed on the suction line inside the tank protect the hydraulic pump from coarser contaminants.
• Breathing and filling: Integrated return filters with an air filter and filler prevent dust from the environment from entering during oil level changes.

1. Tank-mounted return filters (RFM / MPF Series)

Compact return filters installed on the tank cover. They are equipped with an internal bypass valve (e.g., CV1 type with an opening pressure of 1.75 bar or CD1), which protects the element from damage during cold starts. Available in models such as RFM020, RFM025, RFM030, RFM040 and RFM050.

2. Return filters with filler and breather (RFA Series)

Advanced filter assemblies mounted in the tank opening, combining the functions of a return filter, oil filler with a mesh basket and a breather with an air filter in one housing. We offer models from the RFA110, RFA220 and RFA230 series with BSP threaded connections.

3. Replaceable filter elements (CRE and CRA Series)

Replaceable filter elements with synthetic microfiber or filter paper media with a precision of 10 µm and 25 µm:

• CRE elements: Dedicated to RFM / MPF return filters (e.g., CRE025CV1, CRE030CV1, CRE040CV1, CRE050CV1).
• CRA elements: Dedicated to RFA series filters (e.g., CRA for RFA 110, CRA for RFA 230).

4. Suction filters (pump strainers) and Uniflex machine filters

Mesh filters mounted on the suction line submerged in the tank (3/8" threads, flows of 5 l/min and 10 l/min) along with dedicated FI12 bent tubes. We also offer specialized suction filters for Uniflex crimpers and machine devices (with 1/2" and 3/4" connections).
