Straight air conditioning fittings 

Straight fittings for crimping on air conditioning hoses.

The fittings consist of an aluminum body entering the hose and a metal nut. The fittings are available with American UNF threads ( 5/8"-18, 3/4"-16, 7/8"-14, 1.1/16" ) The offer includes both straight fittings as well as 45-degree, 90-degree angles and AC fittings with valves for filling air conditioning. 

Purpose of air conditioning fittings 

The fittings are intended for crimping on car air conditioning hoses (hoses are used in cars for the transfer of the refrigerant necessary for air conditioning) Our fittings fit all types of air conditioning hoses, meaning thin-walled hoses, thick-walled hoses and Continental hoses with a Teflon lining inside. 

Installation of air conditioning fittings on hoses 

The fittings are crimped onto the hose using a specially adapted crimping press ( air conditioning press ) or using a standard crimper for hydraulic hoses. The fitting does not have a so-called "lock" as in the case of standard fittings for crimping on hydraulic hoses because the working pressure in air conditioning lines is much lower. The fittings are crimped via a metal sleeve. Sleeves are selected for a specific hose: we distinguish sleeves intended for thin-walled hoses and sleeves intended for thick-walled hoses. It is possible to crimp the fitting using a thermoplastic sleeve (smooth inside), so that during crimping we do not cut the textile braid found in air conditioning hoses.
