Thin-walled air conditioning hoses

Thin-walled air conditioning hose with a single textile braid. Made from the best types of rubbers, elastomers, and thermoplastic polymers: CR, PA, NBR, PET, SBR, CIIR. Characterized by lightness and high flexibility. The hose operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +135°C. Meets global OE specifications. The thin-walled air conditioning hose is designed for use with oils and freon, among others. Types of air conditioning hoses: thin-walled hoses, thick-walled hoses, CONTINENTAL hoses (with a Teflon core inside the hose) Car air conditioning hoses (air conditioning service lines). Compatible with thin-walled sleeves or thermoplastic ones. For crimping on an air conditioning press or a regular crimping machine. Thin-walled version (very good bending angle) Hoses can be crimped independently on a special air conditioning press or on a standard hydraulic hose crimper. We also offer fittings (AC ends, sleeves) and others.

Air conditioning line by the meter

In our store, you can purchase any air conditioning hose (sold by the meter) without a minimum length. We sell only proven rubber hoses designed for refrigerant flow. The rubber air conditioning hose is built with rubber and a textile braid reinforcement inside (mesh braid).

What are thin-walled air conditioning hoses?

Thin-walled air conditioning hoses are specialized lines that play a key role in air conditioning systems. They are designed to ensure reliable refrigerant transfer, resistance to high pressures, and compliance with safety and performance standards required in the air conditioning industry. These hoses stand out for their lightweight construction, which makes them more flexible and easier to install, especially in places with limited space.

Parameters of thin-walled hoses

Thin-walled hoses available on the Hydron website meet the SAE J2064 standard and are ISO/TS 16949:2009 certified, which guarantees their high quality and reliability. The most important features of the hoses include: High resistance to external factors: including ozone, aging, shocks, and pulsations; resistance to R134a refrigerant: thanks to low permeability levels, they minimize coolant loss; operating temperature range: from -40°C to +135°C, enabling use in difficult climatic conditions; availability of various sizes: diameters from 8 mm to 16 mm, allowing for adaptation to specific installation needs.

Where are thin-walled hoses used?

Thin-walled hoses are an ideal solution for applications in air conditioning systems where both lightness and durability matter. They work well in: Passenger and truck vehicles – ensuring effective air conditioning operation even in difficult conditions. Industrial cooling systems – used in production plants or warehouses. Building air conditioning systems – where hose flexibility is required for easier installation.

Flexible air conditioning line

A flexible air conditioning line is a specialized thin-walled hose that is a key component of air conditioning systems. Its task is to safely and tightly guide the refrigerant (e.g., R134a) between individual system components, such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator, or expansion valve. Thanks to their design, these lines combine high tightness with great flexibility, allowing for easy installation even in very complex systems. Application of flexible air conditioning lines. These types of lines are used in both car air conditioning and stationary air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They are used in: passenger cars and trucks, agricultural and construction machinery, industrial equipment, building air conditioning installations. Thanks to high resistance and quality, these materials find application in places where other hoses could quickly wear out.

Car air conditioning lines by the meter

In modern refrigeration systems, thin-walled air conditioning hoses are increasingly used, representing a technological advancement over classic solutions used as car air conditioning lines by the meter. Thanks to their multi-layer construction with a barrier limiting refrigerant permeability, they ensure high tightness, pressure parameter stability, and resistance to R134a and R1234yf. In practice, lines for car air conditioning by the meter allow for the creation of an installation with a perfectly matched length, which is crucial for repairs and modernization of air conditioning systems. In the context of the entire offer, it is worth emphasizing that they constitute a specialized group among automotive rubber hoses, which also include solutions for fuel, cooling, or vacuum systems. Proper selection of material, diameter, and crimping system directly affects the durability and tightness of the entire air conditioning system, therefore air conditioning lines should be treated as a technical element requiring precise adjustment to operating parameters.

Goodyear Galaxy AC Hose

Goodyear Galaxy AC Hose is a specialized line designed for air conditioning (A/C) systems in vehicles and machinery where high tightness, chemical resistance, and stable operation under pressure are required. It is an industrial-grade product, used both in the automotive industry and in special applications. Goodyear Galaxy AC Hose is a refrigerant hose designed to work in air conditioning systems using modern cooling gases. The line's construction limits refrigerant permeation, which has a direct impact on the installation's durability and efficiency.

Construction and technical properties

The Galaxy AC Hose has a multi-layer construction where each layer performs a specific function. The inner layer is chemically resistant to refrigerants and oils used in air conditioning. The reinforcement layer provides resistance to working pressure and pulsations, while the outer coating protects the hose from abrasion, moisture, and atmospheric factors. An important feature of this hose is its low gas permeability, which is particularly important in modern A/C systems where even small refrigerant losses affect cooling efficiency and operating costs.

Application of the air conditioning hose

Goodyear Galaxy AC Hose is primarily used in: car air conditioning systems (passenger and truck), construction and agricultural machinery equipped with air conditioning, specialized vehicles, service installations, and modernized A/C systems. The line is adapted for professional crimping on appropriate air conditioning fittings, ensuring a durable and tight connection.

Resistance and reliability

Goodyear Galaxy series hoses are designed for a long service life. The AC Hose is characterized by good resistance to vibration, temperature changes, and working conditions typical of engine compartments and working machinery. As a result, it performs well in intensive use and in service centers where consistent quality matters. Who is this product for? Goodyear Galaxy AC Hose is a solution dedicated to car workshops, air conditioning services, hose manufacturers, and companies involved in the repair and modernization of cooling and air conditioning systems. It is also a good choice where quality confirmed by a brand with an established position in the industry is required.
