Flat-face dry-break quick couplings
"Dry" quick couplings, flat quick couplings -dry-break connectors
Also called dry-break ( flat-face ) quick couplings, most commonly used in all types of construction machinery, cranes, and modern agricultural machines. Their advantage is the flat connection surface allowing for easy maintenance of the quick coupling cleanliness. Push-to-connect quick couplings. In our offer we have dry-break quick couplings both in the plug option as well as the socket type option. Available quick coupling sizes : 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 11/4", 11/2", 2" We offer exclusively the highest quality quick couplings of the well-known and renowned Italian company DNP.

Dry-break quick coupling plug
Quick coupling plug – what is it and what does it look like? A quick coupling plug is the part of a hydraulic quick coupling responsible for ensuring a tight and safe connection in hydraulic systems. It is the male element ( "male" ) in the design of quick couplings. It has been designed to fit the quick coupling socket ( female element ). Thanks to the flat design ( according to the ISO 16028 standard ) it minimizes the risk of hydraulic fluid leakage and the entry of contaminants into the system. Plug construction: Design: The plug is made of durable materials, such as steel with a galvanic finish ( Zn-Fe Cr III ), which ensures corrosion resistance and durability. Seals: Standard seals made of NBR, with the option of using FKM or EPDM, depending on needs. Shape: Cylindrical construction with a flat face facilitates connection and disconnection. Thread: Available in various thread standards, such as BSP, NPT, or SAE, which allows matching to various applications. Plug function: The plug connects with the quick coupling socket, creating a tight connection. This connection is key for maintaining pressure in the system and preventing loss of hydraulic medium.Dry-break quick coupling socket
What is a quick coupling socket and what does it look like? A dry-break quick coupling socket is the female element ( "female" ) in the construction of hydraulic quick couplings. Its main function is to provide the possibility of quick and tight connection and disconnection in hydraulic systems, without the risk of fluid leakage. Socket construction: Design: The socket is made of the same durable materials as the plug, with an additional locking mechanism, e.g. ball-type. Flat surface: Minimizes contact with contaminants, which reduces the risk of system damage. Seals: Similarly to plugs, standard seals are made of NBR, with the possibility of choosing other materials. Dimensions and standards: Sockets are available in various sizes according to the ISO 16028 standard, which ensures their compatibility with a wide range of plugs. Socket function: The socket is responsible for stopping the flow of hydraulic medium after disconnecting the plug, thanks to which no leaks occur. Its design allows for connection in a pressure-less state, which facilitates system operation. Dry-break quick couplings are part of a wide range of quick couplings used in industrial and workshop installationsTechnical data of dry-break quick couplings :
