Screw-on quick couplers - old type (ZSR)

Old-type hydraulic quick coupler with ball

old-type-screw-on-quick-couplers

Agricultural quick couplers of the old type ( z kulką ) This type of quick couplers was popular a dozen or so years ago. Currently, these quick couplers are being replaced by another type of quick couplers ( push pull ) called EURO quick couplers meaning poppet-type quick couplers. Despite many years, old-type agricultural quick couplers still enjoy great popularity among some users. Quick couplers popular in agricultural machinery, used in hose connections, are characterized by durability and safety ( thanks to the screw connection ). We offer a full range of manufactured threads. Quick couplers made of steel, zinc-plated.

Technical data for old-type ZSR quick couplers:

  • Material: free-cutting steel
  • Protection: zinc-plated
  • Threads: external metric
  • Purpose: hydraulic oil
  • Available with threads: M18x1,5, M20x1,5, M22x1,5

Old-type quick coupler plug and socket with ball

Hydraulic quick coupler socket and plug of the old type with M36x1.5 thread. Old-type hydraulic quick couplers are popular components used in hydraulic systems. They are characterized by simple construction and ease of use. Here are some features and applications of old-type hydraulic quick couplers: Construction: Old-type hydraulic quick couplers consist of two parts - male and female. The male part contains a collar with an external thread, while the female part has a collar with an internal thread. The main elements are a ball and a spring, which enable quick connection and disconnection.

Simple and reliable hydraulic quick couplers for agriculture

Speed and convenience: Old-type hydraulic quick couplers allow for quick and easy connection and disconnection of two hydraulic components. Thanks to this, they facilitate assembly and disassembly in hydraulic systems, which is especially useful in case of frequent changes and repairs. Resistance to high pressure: Old-type hydraulic quick couplers are designed to withstand high working pressures, which enables efficient operation in heavy-duty hydraulic systems.

Application of old-type quick coupler

Quick couplers with a ball, i.e., old-type hydraulic quick couplers, have wide application: Old-type hydraulic quick couplers find application in many fields, such as industry, agriculture, construction, and automotive. They are used in hydraulic systems that require frequent connecting and disconnecting of components, for example, in hydraulic control systems, power supply systems, and cooling systems. Despite their simple design, old-type hydraulic quick couplers are known for their reliability and durability. Properly tightened and kept clean, they ensure a tight and safe hydraulic connection.

Screw-on hydraulic fitting

Screw-on hydraulic fitting is a connection element used in power hydraulics installations, which allows for a quick and reliable connection of a hydraulic hose with a quick coupler or another element of the system. This solution is particularly popular in mobile hydraulics, especially in agricultural machinery, where agricultural screw-on quick couplers. The construction of this type of fitting allows for assembly without the use of specialized hose crimping machines, since the hose is fixed mechanically by screwing the fitting components. Thanks to this, the screw-on hydraulic fitting finds application in service situations and in installations where quick fabrication or repair of a hydraulic hose is required without access to a crimper. These types of connectors work with elements such as hydraulic hoses, hydraulic quick couplers and various types of hydraulic fittings used in power hydraulics systems. In practice, screw-on fittings are often used in agricultural machinery, trailers, front loaders, hydraulic power units, and other devices requiring reliable and leak-proof connections of hydraulic hoses. Due to their construction and resistance to operating pressure, they are a durable solution, easy to install, and convenient to operate, especially in field and service applications.

Why is the screw-on hydraulic fitting called that?

Screw-on hydraulic fitting owes its name to the method of assembly on the hydraulic hose. Unlike standard hydraulic hose ends, which require the use of a specialized hydraulic crimper and a crimp ferrule, in this solution, the connection is made by mechanical screwing of the fitting components onto the hose. The construction of such a fitting usually consists of two parts: a body with a thread and a clamping element that screws into the structure of the hydraulic hose. During assembly, the hose is inserted into the fitting, and then by tightening the connector components, the braid and the rubber layer of the hose are mechanically clamped. This results in a permanent and tight connection without the need for a hydraulic press. For this reason, the term "screw-on hydraulic fitting" refers directly to the assembly technology – the element is literally screwed onto the hydraulic hose. This solution is particularly valued in agricultural machinery services and in field work, where quick repair of a hydraulic hose is of great importance. Thanks to this, the operator can make a connection using basic workshop tools, without having to use professional hose crimping machines. These types of fittings often work with components such as agricultural hydraulic quick couplers, hydraulic lines and various types of connectors used in power hydraulics installations.
