What is a GBS clamp? What does W1 mean? A GBS W1 clamp is a heavy-duty fastener designed for clamping and connecting hoses of large diameters, especially in applications requiring high mechanical strength. Intended use of GBS hose clamps 

What are GBS hose clamps intended for? GBS steel clamps with a hinged bolt closure. Clamps of this type are mainly used for fixing fittings on all types of flexible hoses, made of hard rubber, reinforced with plastic or steel. Installation of hose clamps 

How are GBS clamps fixed? A characteristic feature and the biggest advantage of metal GBS clamps is the possibility of easy independent assembly on hoses - a screwdriver is enough. GBS clamps are used in various industries ( most commonly used as hose bands for low and medium pressure hoses - used in the broadly defined automotive industry ) thanks to their use, we do not have to crimp the fitting on the hose using a crimping press, assembly can be done independently using a screwdriver. GBS are also used for low and medium-pressure lines: e.g. for air, water, gasoline, oil transfer. The clamps are openable, which makes them reusable - they can be used many times. Simply unscrew the band, loosen it and you can use them repeatedly.
