How does a manual grease gun work ? 

After attaching the grease, the grease gun hose using a 4-jaw coupler is fixed on the grease nipple, i.e., grease fitting and then by manual pumping we force the grease into the grease nipple. How does a grease gun for grease nipples work

A grease gun works on the principle of generating pressure that pushes the grease through a nozzle with a tip matched to the grease nipple. When the grease gun tip is pressed against the grease nipple, the valve opens, allowing the lubricant to be forced into the channel leading deep into the bearing or another element requiring lubrication. How to fill a grease nipple using a grease gun – step by step

To properly fill a grease nipple using a grease gun, several simple rules should be followed:

   Ensure that the grease gun is filled with the appropriate lubricant. Depending on the model, this can be grease loaded from a tube, cartridge or introduced manually into the device cylinder.

2. Lubrication point cleaning:
   Before starting work, clean the grease nipple from dirt, dust and old grease. This will prevent contaminants from entering the system.

3. Connecting the grease gun:
   Place the grease gun nozzle to the head of the grease nipple. In most models, the tips have a spring-loaded latch that fits tightly to the valve, guaranteeing the tightness of the connection.

4. Grease pumping:
   Using the lever, trigger or piston, force the grease until you notice it appearing at the control leak point or until you feel increased resistance (this means that the bearing has been fully filled).

5. Disconnecting the grease gun:
   After finishing the pumping, disconnect the grease gun nozzle and wipe off any excess grease. The grease nipple will automatically close, maintaining the system's tightness.
