Straight fittings for centralized lubrication

We offer a variety of fittings designed for use in centralized lubrication systems. This category includes straight connectors used in centralized lubrication systems for machines and devices. On one side, an external thread (available in various threads: M6, M8, M10, 1/8", 1/4", 3/8"), on the other side, an M10x1 external thread with a cutting ring and a nut. From the M10x1 side, we can connect a hydraulic tube, a screw-in terminal, or a calibrated hose. These types of connectors are also known as compression fittings. This type of fitting is the most popular and commonly used type of connector found in all types of lubrication systems. We also offer elbow connectors for centralized lubrication, as well as hoses and terminals.

Construction of straight fittings

Straight fittings for centralized lubrication systems are precisely designed components that ensure a durable and tight connection of lines in lubrication systems. Their design is refined in every detail, guaranteeing reliability even in the most demanding operating conditions. A straight fitting, as the name suggests, has a symmetrical, linear design, meaning both ends are aligned on one axis. It is equipped with two threads that allow it to be screwed into the system and connect lubrication lines. It is made of materials resistant to high pressure and the action of lubricants, ensuring long-term reliability.

Threads on both sides

Straight fittings are equipped with threads on both sides, enabling a solid connection of hoses or components of the centralized lubrication system. These threads can be made in various standards (e.g., metric, inch), ensuring their versatility and the ability to fit different systems. Precise thread cutting allows for quick assembly and eliminates the risk of leaks during operation under pressure.

Cutting ring

An integral part of the fitting's design is the cutting ring, which plays a key role in ensuring the tightness of the connection. During the tightening of the nut, this ring clamps onto the line, creating a durable and hermetic connection. It is made of durable materials resistant to high pressure and abrasion, making it reliable in long-term use.

Fastening nut

A fastening nut is also located at both ends of the fitting, responsible for stable hose attachment. The nut is ergonomically designed, allowing for easy and quick assembly, even in hard-to-reach places. Its solid construction and precisely matched threads ensure even pressure on the cutting ring, eliminating the possibility of looseness and leaks.

Centralized lubrication system fittings

Straight fittings for centralized lubrication systems are installation components used in grease distribution systems. They enable reliable connection of hoses and components, ensuring the proper operation of the entire system. Thanks to precision manufacturing and high-quality materials, these fittings are able to withstand demanding operating conditions, such as high pressure or the action of chemicals present in lubricants. Straight fittings available in the Hydron offer stand out for their durability and precision. Made of corrosion-resistant metal alloys. Straight connectors are available in various sizes and threads, allowing for adjustment to many types of centralized lubrication systems. Fast and convenient connection of lubrication hoses thanks to precisely made threads and ergonomic shapes.

Application of fittings in centralized lubrication systems

Straight fittings are used in various industries where centralized lubrication systems are essential for maintaining the efficiency of devices and machines. Typical applications include: Heavy industry – construction machinery, lifting equipment, forklifts. Manufacturing industry – production lines, presses, CNC machines. Transport and logistics – heavy-duty vehicles, buses, agricultural tractors. Mining – equipment used in extreme operating conditions. Straight fittings are used in centralized lubrication systems utilized in: industrial machines, construction and agricultural machines, lubrication systems in commercial vehicles, automatic lubrication systems in production plants.

Centralized lubrication fitting

What is a straight fitting for centralized lubrication? lubrication lines in a durable and tight manner. Thanks to it, grease or oil is delivered to the lubrication points, ensuring the proper operation of bearings, gears, and other moving parts. Why is it worth using straight fittings in centralized lubrication systems? They provide a tight and durable connection of lubrication lines, minimizing the risk of leaks. Thanks to straight fittings, we can connect lubrication lines. The connectors are resistant to pressure and operating conditions, allowing for their use in demanding industrial environments.

Lubrication fittings in central systems: how to eliminate losses

Lubrication fittings are the element that determines whether the lubricant actually reaches the friction points. In practice, the problem begins when the system loses pressure or flow resistance occurs, most often resulting from a mismatched bore diameter or poor quality connections. In centralized lubrication systems, we work with a thick medium, so every millimeter of narrowing has a real impact on efficiency. Poorly selected fittings cause the furthest points of the installation to remain under-lubricated, leading to accelerated wear of bearings, pins, or guides. That is why it is worth using dedicated fittings for centralized lubrication systems, which guarantee appropriate patency and tightness of the entire system.

How to build an efficient lubrication system without the risk of seizing

The fitting alone does not solve the problem; it must be part of a well-designed system. In practice, this means matching it to the lines, lubrication points, and operating pressure. It is crucial to use appropriate end elements, such as grease nipples, which are responsible for delivering grease exactly where it is needed. In more extensive installations, distribution and flow control elements are also necessary, available in the group centralized lubrication system components. A properly selected kit eliminates losses, maintains stable pressure, and ensures uniform lubrication of all points, so the machine works smoothly, without downtime or costly failures.
