Three-section hydraulic control valve
What are three-section control valves ? Three-section hydraulic control valves are components in hydraulic systems that allow for the control of working fluid flow to three independent circuits. They allow the operator to precisely control the operation of various machine components, such as cylinders or hydraulic motors, resulting in the efficiency and precision of the entire system.
Application of three-section control valves
Three-section control valves are widely used in various industries. In agriculture, they are used in machinery such as tractors or combine harvesters, enabling the control of working tools. In construction, they are used in excavators, loaders, and cranes for precise control of boom or bucket movements. In the forestry industry, these control valves are an integral part of logging machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Types of three-section control valves
Depending on the control method and additional features, at the Hydron store, you will find several types of three-section control valves:
- Manual control valve
The simplest type of control valve, where each section is manually controlled by a lever. It allows for precise and direct control of oil flow, making it widely used in power hydraulics, especially in agricultural and construction machinery. It is characterized by simple construction, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
- Control valve with detent
This is a manual control valve with an additional locking mechanism (detent), which allows the section to be held in a specific position without the need to constantly hold the lever. It is particularly useful in applications where maintaining oil flow in one position for a long time is necessary, e.g., when lifting or lowering loads in transport machinery.
- Control valve with floating section
In this type of control valve, one of the sections is equipped with a "floating" function (the so-called float function), which means that in a specific valve position, the oil flows freely, without forcing a rigid cylinder movement. This solution is used, for example, in hydraulic systems driving plows and blades, where adjustment to ground irregularities is required without generating excessive pressure.
- Electric control valve
A modern version of the control valve, electrically controlled, which allows for the automation of the oil flow control process. Thanks to the use of electromagnets, the operator can control the hydraulic system remotely, e.g., from the machine cabin. This solution is used in modern agricultural vehicles, construction machinery, and automated systems in industry.
