Benders for tubes, hydraulic tubes

Recommended bender models :

Professional steel tube benders

The category below contains machines and equipment designed for bending piping (hydraulic tubes). The benders allow the bending of both steel hydraulic tubes as well as stainless steel tubes. Bending hydraulic tubes is a process of giving a tube the desired shape by bending it in appropriate places. Bending hydraulic tubes is widely used in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry, where tubes are used to transmit fluids or gases under high pressure. Methods of bending hydraulic tubes -several basic methods of bending hydraulic tubes: bending on manual benders, bending on hydraulic benders, hot bending. Depending on the machine model, we can bend steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, aluminum tubes, copper tubes on the benders.

Tube bending step by step

Tube bending is extremely simple : we mount the bender in a vise, then depending on the outer diameter of the tube we select the appropriate roller, after mounting the roller we place the tube in the bender and bend until a specific angle is achieved. The bender is designed for power hydraulics tubes ( seamless tubes ). The offered benders are not cheap mass production but professional machines designed for demanding users.

Manual benders -manual steel tube bender

Bending using a manual bender: This is the simplest bending method, which consists of manually bending the tube using physical force. The operator performs the bending by applying force to the appropriate place on the tube. This method is suitable for bending tubes with smaller diameters and simpler shapes.

Hydraulic tube benders

Mechanical bending: Mechanical tube bending equipment is used, such as manual benders or hydraulic benders. The benders have bending forms that give the tube the desired shape. The operator places the tube in the bender and then bends it using a lever or hydraulic cylinders. This method allows for precise bending of tubes of various diameters and shapes. Hydraulic benders are electrically powered, hence they are also referred to as "electric tube bender"

Stainless steel tube bender

Stainless steel tube bender T642 is an irreplaceable tool for the precise bending of tubes with diameters from 6 to 42 mm. Tubes made of stainless materials are characterized by greater hardness than traditional steel tubes, which means that their bending requires the use of appropriate tools. Thanks to its hydraulic design, the T642 bender provides high bending force and precision, enabling efficient work even with the most demanding materials. An excellent choice for professionals looking for reliable equipment to work with stainless steel tubes.

Manual tube bender

A manual tube bender is an irreplaceable tool for professionals dealing with hydraulic, automotive, and industrial installations. It enables precise forming of seamless tubes, ensuring bending accuracy and minimizing the risk of deformation. Thanks to its compact design and intuitive operation, a manual bender is an excellent solution for both workshops and field work. Our offer includes, among others, manual tube bender MBM 6-18, which stands out for its high-quality workmanship and a wide range of applications. This tool was designed for precise bending of tubes with diameters from 6 to 18 mm, making it an ideal choice for specialists dealing with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Thanks to its solid construction and ergonomic handle, the bender provides a secure grip and control over the bending process, eliminating the risk of cracks and uneven deformations. Its compact size allows for comfortable work in hard-to-reach places, making it an irreplaceable tool for mechanics and installers.

Stainless steel tube bender

What is a stainless steel tube bender ? A stainless steel tube bender is a professional device that enables precise forming of stainless steel tubes without the risk of flattening, cracking, or damaging them. It allows for making precise arcs and angles in hydraulic, pneumatic, heating, and structural installations. Thanks to an appropriate system of rollers and levers, the bender ensures smooth and repeatable bending even in the case of hard tubes with large diameters. Model Tube bender T642 (6–42 mm) is a solid and reliable device designed to work with steel, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel tubes. Its wide working range (from 6 to 42 mm) allows for handling various tube diameters, making it a universal tool for hydraulic workshops, installation services, and production companies. The design of the bender ensures an optimal distribution of force and minimizes the risk of tube deformation during bending.

Application of a stainless steel tube bender:

  • construction of hydraulic and heating installations,

  • service and assembly work,

  • production of structural elements from stainless steel,

  • creation of industrial and laboratory installations.

Mandrel tube bender

In our store's offer you will find mandrel benders for hydraulic tubes, which perfectly match the needs of demanding production and service facilities. These devices provide high bending precision even for thin-walled seamless and stainless steel tubes, which makes them an irreplaceable tool in the power hydraulics industry – and as the HYDRON company, we have been specializing in providing such professional solutions for 15 years. What is a mandrel bender and why is it worth using ? A mandrel bender, also sometimes called a bender with a mandrel („mandrel tube bender”), is a machine equipped with an internal mandrel, which supports the tube walls from the inside during the bending process, preventing deformations, kinks, and flattening. Thanks to this: you can bend tubes with thin walls and small bending radii, you get a perfect cross-section after bending — without unwanted wrinkles and deformations, production repeatability and quality are increased – which is crucial in power hydraulics and pneumatics installations.

If your company is involved in the production of hydraulic hoses, installations, or service, and you need a reliable machine for bending tubes — a mandrel bender is the right solution. Thanks to it, you will obtain: high bending quality – without deformation, production repeatability and minimization of waste, the ability to work with more difficult materials, such as stainless steel, expert support and access to equipment tailored to your needs. Feel free to contact us — we will help you choose the right model, taking into account the tube diameter, material, required bending radius, and production conditions.

Application of benders in power hydraulics and industry

Mandrel benders are particularly recommended for industries where the accuracy, quality, and durability of hydraulic lines count. Examples of applications: hydraulic and pneumatic installations in industrial machinery, installations in the automotive industry, construction, and agriculture, where seamless precision tubes are used, production of lines that must meet requirements regarding flow, pressure, and aesthetics (no cracks, deformations, or kinks).

Features of a professional mandrel bender

When choosing a device, it is worth paying attention to:

  • range of bent tube diameters – e.g., our offer includes equipment for bending tubes from Ø 6 mm to Ø 42 mm.

  • tube material – steel, stainless steel (e.g., AISI 316 TI) require greater bending force and precise construction.

  • drive and control type – manual, hydraulic, electric – depending on production requirements.

  • repeatability and quality of bending – a good machine minimizes post-bending corrections and the risk of rejection.

  • service, parts availability, and technical support – as HYDRON, we provide full technological support and a warehouse of spare parts.

How does the mandrel tube bending process work ?

  1. Selection of the device and appropriate bending rollers (dies) depending on the tube diameter and wall thickness.

  2. Mounting the bender stably (e.g., in a vise or on a workstation).

  3. Inserting the tube along with the mandrel into the die.

  4. Starting the bending process – depending on the device, the process can be manual or automatic.

  5. Checking the obtained arc and possible additions (like deburring, cutting ring pre-assembly) – our offer also includes additional modules for models such as T642.

  6. Control – checking whether the tube meets the requirements for shape, cross-section, and quality.

Rollers for a tube bender

Bender rollers are an essential element of any professional tube bender, responsible for the precise and aesthetic shaping of hydraulic tubes. It is the quality and appropriate fit of the rollers that determine the bending accuracy and the appearance of the final element. The rollers guide the tube during the bending process, ensuring even material deformation without the risk of crushing, cracking, or flattening the cross-section. In practice, each tube requires the use of an appropriate set of rollers tailored to its outer diameter. Using the correct roller size allows you to obtain a perfectly even bending radius and an aesthetic, smooth bend – which is especially important when making hydraulic and pneumatic lines and industrial installations, where both precision and durability of the connection count. The Hydron offer includes rollers for tube benders in a wide range of sizes – from 6 mm to 42 mm, so they can be perfectly matched to a specific type of tube. These rollers can be purchased separately, which allows for the expansion of the existing bender set and its flexible adaptation to various tube diameters used in the workshop or production plant. All rollers offered by Hydron are characterized by solid workmanship, high durability, and machining precision, which guarantees reliable operation over a long period of use.
