Description

Fuel hose 1.1/2" (40 mm)

High-quality fuel hose for oil and gasoline, resistant to bioethanol and biodiesel, designed for automotive and industrial systems

Flexible fuel and oil hose, designed for use in automotive systems and equipment requiring safe flow of petroleum-based fuels. Made of high-quality NBR rubber with a smooth, black inner layer, it ensures resistance to oils, gasoline, and fuels containing bioethanol (up to 15%) and biodiesel (up to 80% diesel with 20% bio-components). The hose features textile reinforcement for durability and flexibility at a working pressure of 10 bar, while the NBR/PVC outer layer protects against weather conditions and high temperatures. The product meets the ISO 1307 standard, is available in 20 m factory rolls, and can be cut to the desired length, with returns accepted only for full rolls. The hose allows for fitting attachments via press crimping or clamps, and its universal application makes it suitable for fuel and oil transport systems in vehicles and industrial machinery.

What is the Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose

The Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose is a flexible conduit designed for transporting liquid fuels, including gasoline, diesel fuel, and light technical oils. The Ø40 designation indicates an internal diameter of 40 mm, while 0.6 MPa specifies a maximum working pressure of 6 bar. These types of fuel hoses are used in low-pressure systems where chemical resistance to petroleum products and durability in industrial conditions are required. The hose construction usually consists of an inner layer made of a fuel-resistant rubber compound, a textile reinforcement layer, and an outer layer protecting against abrasion and weather conditions. In practice, this corresponds to industry standards such as EN 1360 (hoses for liquid fuels) and relevant manufacturer specifications regarding oil and fuel resistance.

Application of the Ø40 fuel hose in industrial and agricultural systems

The Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose is used in fuel distribution systems, at storage tanks, in fuel dispensers, in agricultural machinery, and in specialized vehicles. Due to the large DN40 diameter, this hose allows for efficient fuel flow while maintaining stable hydraulic parameters. In practice, it is used in refueling systems for construction machinery, tractors, harvesters, as well as in workshops and technical services. In combination with appropriate fuel connectors, clampsand compliant with DIN 3017-1 and industrial fittings available in the Hydron offer, it creates a complete and safe transfer system. Thanks to its resistance to gasoline and diesel fuel, the Ø40 0.6 MPa hose performs well in conditions where standard water or air hoses would degrade.

Differences between a fuel hose and a standard technical hose

A fuel gasoline oil hose Ø40 0.6 MPa differs from typical water or air hoses primarily in the composition of the rubber compound. The inner layer must be resistant to hydrocarbons, which cause regular rubber hoses to swell and crack in a short time. Additionally, fuel hoses are designed to limit the permeation of fuel vapors, which is important for both safety and environmental protection. Unlike high-pressure hydraulic hoses, such as conduits compliant with EN 853 1SN or EN 856 2SN, the 0.6 MPa model is not intended for use in high-pressure hydraulic power systems, but in low-pressure systems for transporting flammable liquids. Selecting the correct type of hose has a direct impact on operational safety and system durability.

Most common mistakes when selecting a Ø40 fuel hose

One of the most common mistakes is using a hose with inappropriate chemical resistance. Choosing a hose designed for water instead of a fuel gasoline oil hose Ø40 0.6 MPa leads to rapid material degradation. Another mistake is failing to consider the DN40 internal diameter in the context of the required flow capacity. A diameter that is too small causes pressure losses and a drop in refueling efficiency. Attention should also be paid to proper mounting using appropriate clamps and matching fuel nipples and connectors. It is also crucial to observe the maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa. Exceeding this value can result in hose damage and a fuel leak hazard.

Technical advice and quality at Hydron

Hydron has been providing solutions for the hydraulic power and industrial technology industry for many years, offering not only a wide selection of fuel hoses, but also comprehensive fittings, connectors, clamps, and mounting components. Each Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose available in the offer is selected considering operating parameters and application requirements. Customers can count on technical support in selecting appropriate diameters, working pressures, and compatible connectors. Thanks to the constant availability of products and efficient order fulfillment, it is possible to quickly start up or modernize a fuel system without unnecessary downtime.

FAQ – Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose

What is the application of the Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose?
The hose is designed for transporting gasoline, diesel fuel, and light technical oils in low-pressure systems up to 6 bar.

Is the Ø40 0.6 MPa hose suitable for hydraulic power?
No. This is a conduit for fuels and oils at low pressure, not for high-pressure hydraulic systems.

How to select a fuel hose with a 40 mm diameter?
You should consider the DN40 internal diameter, maximum pressure of 0.6 MPa, the type of liquid being transported, and operating conditions, including temperature and installation method.

What is the price of the Ø40 0.6 MPa fuel gasoline oil hose?
The price depends on the length of the section and the current offer. Competitive prices with high quality and fast shipping are available at Hydron.
