Description
Semperit 4SP DN16 (5/8") 350 bar hydraulic hose
The Semperit 4SP hydraulic hose is an advanced multispiral hose, manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 856 standard. The DN16 (5/8") model was developed for the most demanding power hydraulic installations, where resistance to a very high working pressure of 350 bar and the ability to dampen sudden pressure surges are crucial. It is a premium-class product, ideal for construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment operating in difficult operating conditions.
The hose construction utilizes four spiral braids of high-strength steel wire, ensuring exceptional stability under load. The internal layer of synthetic rubber guarantees compatibility with a wide range of hydraulic fluids (including HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HFA, HFAS, HFB, HFC). The outer cover has MSHA approval, confirming its high resistance to abrasion and the effects of ozone. If you need proven components for hose termination, see our crimping ferrules for 4SP and 4SH hoses and professional hose fittings.
Application and benefits
The 4SP DN16 hose is indispensable in systems where standard braided hoses do not provide an adequate safety margin. For self-assembly of hoses in your service center, we recommend taking advantage of our offer on industrial crimping machines for hoses and pipes.
- Extreme durability thanks to four spiral steel braids.
- Excellent performance in hydraulic systems with high flow dynamics.
- Resistance to external factors confirmed by MSHA certification.
- Stable operation at temperatures from -40°C to +100°C (short-term up to +120°C).
