Hose crimping instructions for the AC crimper

The air conditioning crimper allows for crimping fittings onto car air conditioning hoses using a hydraulic pump. This makes the operation light, fast, and precise. The presented model with a hydraulic foot pump is the most popular solution for crimping AC hoses.

Special open head

The special open head allows for crimping angled fittings and bent tubes that would not fit into a regular hydraulic hose crimper. The head is made of lightweight and durable aluminum, making it excellent for field use. The entire set is packed in a handy case measuring 23 cm x 17 cm x 13 cm.

7 sets of crimping dies

The crimper comes with 7 sets of crimping dies designed for typical AC hoses (thin-walled and thick-walled). It is adapted to standard sizes:

• #6 (5/16")
• #8 (13/32")
• #10 (1/2")
• #12 (5/8")
• 3 intermediate sizes (usually found in Japanese cars)

The device allows for crimping hoses with internal diameters DN08, DN10, DN13, DN16 – both thin-walled and thick-walled. Suitable for crimping hoses with an outer diameter from 15 mm to 29 mm (covering 99% of hoses found in passenger cars, agricultural, and construction machinery).

A crimper essential in every professional workshop dealing with the repair of AC hoses. Along with the crimper, we provide detailed hose crimping instructions. The instructions inform which dies should be selected for a specific hose size. The set includes 7 sizes of color-coded dies – each color corresponds to a specific hose size.

Note: This crimper is intended exclusively for air conditioning hoses – it cannot be used for crimping hydraulic hoses (manual steel crimpers are designed for that purpose).
