The air conditioning crimping tool allows for the crimping of fittings onto car air conditioning hoses using a manual hydraulic pump. This makes the operation light, fast, and precise. The presented model of the crimper with a built-in hand pump is the most popular model for crimping air conditioning hoses.

Special opening head

The special opening head allows for the crimping of angled fittings and bent tubes that would not fit in a standard hydraulic hose crimper. The head made of aluminum is perfect for use in the field.

7 sets of crimping dies

The crimping tool has 7 sets of crimping dies intended for typical air conditioning hoses (thin-walled and thick-walled). It is adapted to the sizes:

• #6 (5/16")
• #8 (13/32")
• #10 (1/2")
• #12 (5/8")
• 3 intermediate sizes (typically found in Japanese cars)

The device allows for crimping hoses with internal diameters of DN08, DN10, DN13, DN16 – it crimps both thin-walled and thick-walled hoses. It is adapted for crimping hoses with a diameter from 15 mm to 29 mm (i.e., 99% of those found in passenger, agricultural, and construction vehicles).

The manual informs which dies should be selected for a specific hose size. The set includes 7 sizes of color-coded dies – each color corresponds to dies for a specific hose size.

Note: This crimping tool is intended for air conditioning lines – it cannot be used to crimp hydraulic hoses (manual steel crimping tools are intended for that purpose).
