BSP 1/2" / M30x2 22L Connector / Stud Fitting with ED washer

Straight BSP 1/2" / M30x2 22L connector with ED washer is a hydraulic stud fitting designed for connecting hoses with hydraulic device bodies. It has two external threads: inch BSP 1/2" and metric M30x2. The inch side is equipped with an ED rubber seal, while the metric side has a 24° compression cone. The connection is made in the 22L light series. The product is used in hydraulic systems using hydraulic oil.

Application and technical characteristics

The BSP 1/2" / M30x2 22L ED stud fitting is used to make connections between hydraulic hoses and the bodies of pumps, cylinders, directional control valves, and other compatible system components. The BSP 1/2" external thread is screwed into a properly prepared port in the device body. The ED washer provides sealing for this connection.

The other side of the fitting has an M30x2 metric thread, intended for attaching a hose, elbow, or other compatible connector. Sealing occurs during the tightening of the mating 24° conical surfaces. The 22L designation specifies the connection size in the light series.

ED seal and 24° compression cone

The fitting uses two sealing methods. On the BSP 1/2" thread side, an ED rubber seal is used, which seals the connection with the device body. On the M30x2 thread side, tightness is achieved by pressing together properly matched conical surfaces.

Before installation, check the compatibility of the threads, the 22L size, and the geometry of the mating components. Proper selection of the fitting is important for the tightness of the connection and the correct operation of the hydraulic system.
