Straight imperial-metric couplings (BSP/M)
Couplings intended mainly for connecting hoses or fitting (as long as it says fitting! )
Imperial-metric connectors ( imperial-metric reduction ). The category contains threaded imperial-metric couplings and fittings. On one side English imperial BSP thread on the other side external metric thread with a cone. Connectors come in two versions : coupling - intended for connecting hydraulic hoses with nut ends ( this element can be used solely as a coupling ), coupling / fitting - this element on one side is equipped with a rubber washer and a special undercut ( can be used as a fitting e.g. screwed into manifold, cylinder or other element with an internal thread ) The coupling / fitting has a universal application because it allows use as a coupling for connecting hoses and as a fitting. Due to the fact that couplings allow for thread reduction, couplings in this category are also called reducing couplings.

Hydraulic reducing couplings
In Hydron's offer you will find a wide selection of hydraulic reducing couplings, which are a basic element of every hydraulic system. These are BB type straight couplings, used to connect hoses and components with different thread diameters or different connection sizes. Thanks to their precision workmanship and solid construction, they guarantee a tight, durable, and safe connection in systems operating under high pressure. Hydron reducing couplings are products that meet the highest quality standards, used in industry, agriculture, construction, and in hydraulic power services.
What is a hydraulic reducing coupling ?
A hydraulic reducing coupling is a simple but extremely important element connecting two hoses or components with different thread diameters. Thanks to it, you can easily connect, for example, a hose with a 1/4" thread to an element with an M18x1.5" thread. In hydraulic power systems, imperial-metric reducing couplings play a key role — they enable flexible matching of installation components, while ensuring tightness and resistance to high operating pressures, often reaching several hundred bars.
