PREMIUM 4SH DN20 3/4" hydraulic hose is a high-pressure rubber hose designed for oil transport in power hydraulic systems. It is offered in a 20 m roll, which allows for the preparation of hydraulic hoses in lengths tailored to the installation needs. The PREMIUM DN20 4SH hose is designed for work in high-pressure oil hydraulic systems. It can be used in appropriately selected systems of construction, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment where flexible hoses adapted to a working pressure of up to 420 bar are required. When selecting, the actual hydraulic loads, oil temperature, installation conditions, and parameters of the entire hose assembly should be taken into account.

The nominal size DN20 corresponds to the 3/4" inch designation. The product data sheet gives an internal diameter of approximately 20 mm, also specified as DN19/20. The hose diameter affects the oil flow velocity and pressure losses, so it should be selected according to the pump performance and the demand of hydraulic receivers. The value of the maximum working pressure alone is not sufficient for the correct selection of the hose for the installation.

The 4SH construction is characterized by the use of four spiral layers of steel wire reinforcement. In contrast to 1SN and 2SN hoses, which have braided reinforcement, 4SH hoses use a spiral construction. It is designed to handle high pressure loads. The inner layer is made of oil-resistant synthetic rubber. The outer cover is synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion, ozone, and atmospheric factors. The operating temperature range of the hose is from -40°C to +100°C. The product data sheet allows for a short-term temperature increase to +120°C. The momentary value does not mean permission for continuous operation at this temperature. When selecting the hose, the influence of temperature, pressure, and the properties of the transported medium must be considered.

The offered product is a 20-meter roll of PREMIUM 4SH hydraulic hose. This form allows for the preparation of several hoses of different lengths depending on service or production needs. Before cutting the hose, the required lengths of segments should be planned, taking into account the hydraulic fittings, the way the hose is routed, and its work in the machine.

The hose is intended for the installation of hydraulic fittings by swaging on a press. Due to the 4SH construction, it is necessary to use compatible fittings and crimping ferrules as well as crimping parameters appropriate for the specific set of components. Crimping parameters used for single-braid or double-braid hoses should not be used automatically.

During installation, the minimum bending radius provided for the specific hose version should also be observed, twisting of the hose should be avoided, and places exposed to intense friction should be protected. The permissible working pressure of the complete hose assembly is determined by the element with the lowest rated pressure. A hose with a working pressure of 420 bar does not increase the permissible pressure of the used fittings or other installation elements.
