4SH hoses with four steel braids

PREMIUM high-pressure hydraulic hoses with four steel braids with a working pressure higher than ordinary 4SP hoses. SH hoses are used in places where standard four-wire braid hoses (4SP) are not applicable due to the excessively high working pressure of the hydraulic system. 4SH hoses should be crimped on special crimping sleeves (4SH) and fittings (4SH). Such fittings are longer than standard ones and feature a so-called double INTERLOCK lock. Typically, the hose end is held on the hose not by one lock but by 2 locks, which ensures much better connection reliability. 4SH hoses must be skived before installing the crimping sleeve; skiving ensures the ferrule is crimped directly onto the steel braid, providing a 100% guarantee of correct crimping. 4SH hoses must be skived internally and externally. Offered hose brands: PREMIUM 4SH, SEMPERIT 4SH, SEL 4SH, ALFAGOMMA 4SH, BRIDGESTONE 4SH

• Inner layer: synthetic rubber resistant to mineral and vegetable hydraulic oils and glycol.

• Temperature range: -40ºC to +100ºC, periodically up to +125ºC.

In practice, it refers to hoses with four layers of steel spiral braid that provide exceptional resistance to working pressure, large pulse loads, and intensive use. The standard describes the hose construction, range of diameters, allowable working pressures, minimum bend radii, resistance to hydraulic oils, and requirements for pressure and strength tests. DIN EN 856 4SH is a designation combining the European EN 856 4SH standard with the German DIN system; however, in practice, all provisions refer to the same technical specification used by manufacturers and users in the international market.
