Double-braid hydraulic hose 2SN according to EN 853 / SAE J517 100R2AT.

Hoses with two steel braids ( 2SN ) are the most popular hoses used in power hydraulics. 2SN hoses are intended for all types of machines and equipment in every industry using power hydraulics. Due to the fact that the working pressure of this type of hose is high, the hoses are called high-pressure hoses ( high pressure hoses ) The hoses have higher working and burst pressures than single-braid hoses. The hoses have a quality certificate. 2SN type hoses can be crimped using 2SN ferrule sleeves ( recommended ) or universal ferrule sleeves. Construction of hoses with two steel braids (2SN) :

Inner layer : Black synthetic rubber resistant to oil and water.
Reinforcement : Two high-tensile steel wire braids.
Outer layer : Black synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion, oil, weather conditions and ozone.

Application of 2SN hoses :

Hydraulic hoses with two braids can be used for:

- hydraulic fluids according to ISO 6743-4, except for HFD R, HFD S, HFD T (from -40C to +100C),

- aqueous solutions (from -40°C to +70°C),

- water (from 0°C to +70°C),

- compressed air (from 0°C to +80°C).

The hoses are not intended for fluids containing castor oil and esters.
