The VSTI M10X1 ED threaded plug is a professional sealing element designed for permanent or service closing of internal connection ports in power hydraulic systems and industrial automation. The component is used in manifold bodies, valve blocks, pressure pumps, and cylinders operating under difficult conditions. The design is based on a metric parallel thread M10x1 and an axial nitrile rubber NBR sealing ring (type E ED seal). The internal hex socket allows for efficient assembly using a standard Allen key, ensuring perfect alignment of the plug face with the body surface. The product is made of galvanized structural steel, which guarantees full mechanical resistance and very good protection against corrosion.

The VSTI M10X1 ED threaded blanking plug provides a face sealing contact. When screwed into a socket complying with DIN 3852-21 or ISO 9974-1, the integrated soft ED seal penetrates the thread undercut and undergoes controlled deformation. This creates a flexible barrier resistant to constant vibrations, pressure spikes, and mechanical torsion. What is the difference between a VSTI plug with an ED seal and cone connections?

The VSTI ED plug has a parallel thread and seals on the face using a flexible ring. This eliminates high hoop stresses that occur when screwing in tapered threads, which can lead to cracking of the valve block or pump body.
