Hydraulic hose ULTIMATE 1SN DN6 ( 1/4" )
Single-braid hydraulic hose (1SN) ULTIMATE reinforced with one wire braid inside the hose. One of the best hoses available on the Polish market. The hose has a quality certificate. The hose can be used in all sectors and branches of industry. Hoses exceed the EN853 1SN standard, meet the ISO 18752 BC standard, impulse 500,000 cycles. 1SN hoses have a smaller bending radius and are more flexible than 2SN hoses. The hose consists of an inner tube made of special synthetic rubber resistant to hot oil up to +135°C temporarily up to +150°C ., reinforcement of one steel braid and a durable outer cover made of special synthetic rubber resistant to oils, abrasion, weather conditions and pinhole leaks. The 1SN hose can be replaced by a hose with two steel braids ( higher pressure resistance ). For crimping single-braid hoses, we recommend 1SN crimp ferrules, dedicated to it or universal ferrules. The 1SN hose is a hose with a wrapped surface.
What is the DN06 1SN 135°C 225 bar hydraulic hose
The DN06 1SN 135°C 225 bar hydraulic hose is a high-pressure hydraulic power line designed for operation with hydraulic oils at elevated temperatures. The DN06 designation indicates a nominal internal diameter of 6 mm, while the 1SN symbol means a construction compliant with the EN 853 1SN standard – a single high-strength steel braid. The 135°C version belongs to the ULTIMATE series, which means the use of a rubber compound resistant to higher operating temperatures than in standard 1SN lines. Thanks to this, the DN06 1SN 225 bar hydraulic hose can work in applications where the medium temperature periodically or constantly exceeds the typical 100°C.
Standard and construction of the 1SN hydraulic hose
The hose meets the requirements of the EN 853 1SN standard and corresponds in construction to ISO and SAE standards for single-braid hoses. The construction includes:
- An inner layer of oil-resistant synthetic rubber.
- Reinforcement in the form of one high-strength steel wire braid.
- An outer layer resistant to abrasion, weather factors and elevated temperature.
A working pressure of 225 bar ensures safe operation in typical mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. Combined with properly selected fittings for hydraulic hoses and the correct crimping process on hydraulic crimpers it creates a durable and safe hydraulic line.
Application of the DN06 1SN 135°C hydraulic hose
The DN06 1SN 135°C 225 bar hydraulic hose is used in construction, agricultural, and forestry machinery, as well as in industrial equipment. It performs well in installations where elevated oil temperatures occur, for example, in systems with intensive pump operation or near heat sources. It is often used in control lines, auxiliary circuits, and compact hydraulic systems with lower flow. Thanks to the DN06 diameter, the hose is flexible and easy to route even in limited assembly space. Differences between the 1SN 135°C hose and the standard 1SN
The basic difference concerns the operating temperature. A standard 1SN hydraulic hose typically works up to about 100°C, whereas the 135°C version was designed to work in conditions of elevated temperature. Additionally, the ULTIMATE series stands out with a different rubber compound and often a different color of the outer layer, which facilitates identification in service applications. Compared to 2SN hoses, the 1SN hose has one steel braid instead of two, which means lower weight and greater flexibility, but also different pressure parameters. Choosing the right solution should take into account both the working pressure and the temperature, as well as the nature of the system's operation.
Most common errors when selecting a DN06 1SN hose
A common mistake is selecting a hose based solely on the diameter, without considering the operating temperature. In applications with elevated temperatures, using a standard hose can lead to accelerated aging of the rubber and shortened hose life. The second mistake is not considering the minimum bending radius, which causes excessive stress and damage to the steel braid. One should also remember the correct selection of crimp ferrules and fittings compatible with the 1SN hose type.
