Pneumatic push-in TEKALAN tees
We offer T-shaped Tekalan pneumatic tees. These are plastic push-in fittings with three inlets of the same size. Quick connectors are primarily used for connecting and branching pneumatic systems. Thanks to the use of a tee in an existing compressed air line, we can connect an additional hose or another element. Tees allow for the branching of compressed air installations. In our offer, we have both equal tees as well as Y-shaped tees. We also offer straight Tekalan quick-connect fittings with thread. Push-in quick connectors are designed for hoses: PA-polyamide, PU-polyurethane, PE-polyethylene, PVC-polyvinyl chloride. Working media: compressed air, non-aggressive liquids, non-aggressive gases, vacuum
Design of Tekalan push-in tees
The T-shaped design of Tekalan tees is crucial for the efficiency of pneumatic systems. The geometry allows for uniform distribution of air flow, which improves system performance parameters. Precise selection of shapes and dimensions affects functionality and efficiency. Such a construction ensures stable flow separation, easy connection of components, and minimizes the risk of leaks. These tees are also simple to install and maintain, which reduces operating costs.
Material of Tekalan tees and its properties
Tekalan push-in tees are manufactured from various materials, which affects performance and lifespan. Plastics such as polyamide or polyethylene are most commonly used due to their corrosion resistance and low weight. Plastics are characterized by lightness and flexibility, which facilitates installation and reduces vibrations.
Application of T-shaped push-in tees
Where are T-shaped push-in tees used? What are they for? The primary application of Tekalan tee connectors is connecting pneumatic installations, specifically connecting calibrated tubes, i.e. TEKALAN tubes . Pneumatic push-in tees are used in many industries, which proves their versatility and reliability. In the automotive industry, they are used to control braking systems. In the food industry, they play a key role in pneumatic transport systems. In the energy sector, they control air flow in wind turbines, and they are also essential in chemical and pharmaceutical ventilation. Their ease of installation makes them an essential element of modern systems.
Other types of available push-in tees
In pneumatic installations, push-in tees are key elements that allow for branching lines in a simple and fast way. In addition to the classic push-in tees available in our offer, there are also other types that meet specific user requirements. Each of them is adapted to different applications and working conditions, and the most important ones are presented below.
Reducing push-in tees
Reducing tees allow for connecting hoses of different diameters at one point. Thanks to this design, it is possible to effectively transition between hoses of different sizes without the need for additional fittings or adapters. They are particularly useful in installations requiring flexibility in hose size. Application: Pneumatic systems, industrial automation, control systems. Advantages: Ease of installation, tightness, and elimination of the need for reductions.
Y-shaped push-in tees
Y-shaped tees allow for branching hoses at an angle, which is ideal in installations requiring specific hose routing in limited spaces. Due to their shape, Y-tees are more versatile and allow for more flexible hose placement. Application: Pneumatic systems with complex configurations requiring a change in hose direction. Advantages: Compact design, easy fit into limited spaces.
Threaded Tekalan push-in tees
Threaded tees combine the functionality of push-in connections with hoses and threaded connectors for connecting other system elements such as actuators, valves, or pressure gauges. They are available with different types of threads (internal and external), which allows for wide application in pneumatic systems. Application: Connecting hoses with threaded elements in industrial and workshop installations. Advantages: Versatility, tightness, possibility of matching various thread types.
