Compressed air hose
Rubber hoses intended typically for air. In the category below, you will find very flexible and durable lines dedicated to air transfer; the lines can also be used for water transfer. Working pressure 20 bar. Hoses are suitable for self-assembly using GBS clamps, or such a hose can be crimped on a hose press. This is not an ordinary cheap technical hose - it is a very flexible and durable hose resistant to mechanical damage ( running over , crushing etc ) designed for pneumatic installations. Used in automotive workshops for connecting, among others, pneumatic tools and more. Available hose sizes (internal diameter): 6mm (1/4"), 8mm (5/16"), 10mm (3/8"), 13mm (1/2"), 16mm (5/8"), 20mm (3/4"), 25mm (1"), 32mm ( 1.1/4"), 40mm (1.1/2"), 50mm (2"). Features of compressed air hoses: high flexibility, high mechanical strength, high working pressure.
Air hoses
Air hoses are an indispensable element of every pneumatic system, enabling efficient transmission of compressed air in workshops, industrial plants, and on construction sites. Hydron's offer includes a wide selection of hoses with various diameters, materials, and technical parameters that meet the highest quality and safety standards. What are compressed air hoses? Compressor hoses are flexible lines used to transmit compressed air between pneumatic devices, such as tools, compressors, or blowers. Depending on the application and technical requirements, these hoses can be made of rubber, plastics, or reinforced materials, which increases their resistance to high pressures and mechanical damage.
Selecting pneumatic lines
The selection of pneumatic lines should always take into account the operating parameters of the entire compressed air system. Crucial importance lies in the working pressure, medium temperature, and environmental conditions in which the line will be operated. In pneumatic installations, polyurethane, polyamide, and rubber hoses are most commonly used, which differ in flexibility, mechanical resistance, and resistance to oils and chemical factors present in compressed air.
Application of pressure air hoses
Our pressure air hoses are used in many industries, such as: Automotive workshops – for operating pneumatic tools. Production plants – in machine power systems. Construction work – for connecting compressors and tools. Food and pharmaceutical industry – with appropriate hygienic requirements. Our company offers compressed air hoses of the highest quality, which meet the requirements of even the most demanding users. Our products are available in various lengths and diameters.
Assembling pneumatic lines
Assembling pneumatic lines consists of correctly preparing the hose for operation in a compressed air installation by cutting it and using appropriate connectionelements. This process has a direct impact on the tightness of the system, pressure stability, and the safety of using pneumatic tools and machines. Air lines used in workshop and industrial installations must be perfectly matched to the quick couplers, nipples, hose tails, and threaded fittings used. The basis for correct assembly of lines is a straight, perpendicular cut of the hose, which prevents leaks and incorrect seating in the fitting. In the case of polyurethane, polyamide, and rubber lines, it is very important to keep the end clean, as even minor contaminants can cause air losses. In pneumatic installations, often used are push-insystems, which enable quick assembly and disassembly of lines, as well as screwed and crimped solutions used in more demanding operating conditions. A correctly assembled pneumatic line ensures a long installation life and minimizes compressed air losses.
Marking of pneumatic lines
Marking of pneumatic lines allows for unambiguous identification of their technical parameters and purpose in the installation. Information placed on the hose jacket usually includes the outer and inner diameter, maximum working pressure, operating temperature range, and the type of material the line is made of. Common notations, such as 10x8 mm or 12x9 mm, define the exact dimensions of the line and are the basis for selecting appropriate pneumatic fittings. Additionally, manufacturers use quality standard markings and production batch symbols, which facilitates service and quality control. In practice, the color of the line is also sometimes an element of marking, especially in extensive compressed air installations, where different lines feed different machine sections or workstations. Clear and durable marking of pneumatic lines increases the transparency of the installation and facilitates its expansion and maintenance.
