Spring balancers - tool balancers
Spring balancers, also known as tool balancers, are mainly used at stationary production line workstations to support, among other things, tools or cables, or on construction sites. Thanks to the use of a tool balancer, work is significantly lighter and much safer. Spring balancers in production plants significantly improve work ergonomics. Long-term, stationary execution of various activities is less taxing for the employee, speeds up work, and improves safety at the workstation. The mechanism is constructed in such a way that using tools suspended from the spring balancer does not require excessive force and is safe (balancers have limiters which guarantee that the tensioned cable will not snap back in the opposite direction, endangering the worker's health).
What are balancers ?
Balancers are pneumatic devices used to maintain handheld tools in a state of balance. They work on the principle of balancing the tool's weight using a spring or counterweight mechanism, which means the user does not have to carry the full weight during work. They are available in various sizes and with different load ranges, tailored to specific tools and applications.
What are balancers used for ?
The main application of balancers is to relieve the operator when working with heavy pneumatic, electric, or manual tools. They are installed in workshops, production lines, service centers, and everywhere tools are used for a long time. Balancers provide stable support for tools, allowing them to be suspended freely and accessed quickly, while eliminating the need to put them back on the workbench.
How do balancers help ?
They reduce physical strain: Thanks to balancers, the operator does not have to lift heavy tools, which reduces fatigue and the risk of muscle or joint injuries. They improve work efficiency: Tools are always within reach and easily accessible, which speeds up the work pace and eliminates time lost on putting them away. They provide precision: Stable tool maintenance allows for more precise work, which is important in tasks requiring accuracy. They increase safety: Suspending tools on a balancer prevents them from accidentally falling, which minimizes the risk of equipment damage and potential accidents. They optimize workspace: Tools suspended on balancers do not take up space on the bench, which allows for better use of space in the workshop.
