TEKALAN connectors - tekalan fittings 

Tekalan fittings is a popular name for a set consisting of a cutting ring, a nut, and a reinforcement ring. The set ( fitting ) allows for the attachment ( installation ) of a pneumatic tekalan hose calibrated to a specific threaded connector with the same thread as the nut. Tekalan fittings are an alternative to tekalan quick-connectors ( push-in fittings ). The tekalan fitting is metal and intended for metal couplings; the connection obtained on metal couplings is more secure than a plastic connection. The fitting is sometimes referred to as a screw-in connector for pneumatics.
