Air filter-regulator
Filter-regulators are filters combined with a compressed air pressure regulator. The device not only filters and cleans the pneumatic system of impurities but, using a knob (regulator), can also set the desired air pressure. Our offer also includes separate filters or separate regulators. Filter-regulators are used in every workshop using pneumatic tools (car workshops, paint shops, etc.). The main task of filter-regulators is to catch part of the condensate contained in the compressed air (this is formed as a result of temperature changes). our offer also includes other air preparation sets such as: regulators, lubricators, etc.

Air filter for compressor
An air filter for a compressor plays an important role in every pneumatic system, as it is responsible for cleaning the intake air from dust, metal particles, moisture, and other impurities. The durability of the compressor, pressure stability, and the service life of tools working on compressed air depend on the quality of filtration. A properly selected filter limits the wear of moving parts, reduces the risk of overheating, and protects the compressor from excessive load resulting from suction system contamination.
Air filters are used in both piston and screw compressors. In the former case, protection against dust and dirt affects the maintenance of proper compression and reduction of friction in the cylinders. In screw compressors, filtration is even more important because impurities can interfere with the operation of the compression screws, raising the temperature and lowering the efficiency of the entire system. In both cases, the use of a filter with the appropriate capacity allows the compressor to work smoothly, stably, and with lower energy consumption.
In workshop and industrial installations, filters with different connection diameters are used, for example, 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch, making them suitable for both small compressors and larger high-efficiency units. Proper selection depends on the air flow, compressor power, and the nature of the work – in highly dusty conditions, it is worth choosing elements with an increased filtration surface or using multi-stage air preparation.
Regular replacement or cleaning of the compressor filter is essential for keeping it in good condition. An overly dirty filter increases flow resistance, causing the compressor to work harder, consume more energy, and wear out faster. Cleaned air also affects the quality of operation of the entire installation – valves, actuators, and pneumatic tools.
Hydron's offer includes air filters for compressors in many variants, adapted to various types of compressors and pneumatic system capacities. On the website you can also find filter-regulators and complete air preparation units that combine filtration, pressure reduction, and dewatering in one device. This allows for the creation of a stable, professional, and safe pneumatic installation in any workshop or production plant.
