Brass GEKA claw couplings with external thread (quick-connect system for water and air)
The brass quick-connect claw coupling of the GEKA type with an external thread is designed for fast, reliable, and tight connection of water and compressed air transmission system components. Claw couplings are characterized by a symmetrical, trouble-free design – the connection is made by pressing two elements with the same claw spacing (40 mm) together and rotating them, which locks the catches.
The variant with a cylindrical BSP external thread allows for direct screwing of the coupling into the bodies of pumps, valves, manifolds, washers, or rigid installation components with an internal thread. Each coupling is equipped with a rubber gasket (NBR), which effectively protects against liquid leaks and the escape of pressurized air.
Construction and material
- Body material: Brass protecting the element against oxidation and corrosion, allowing for long-term operation in difficult environmental conditions.
- Claw spacing (lugs): Standardized 40 mm spacing (compatible with all GEKA series claw couplings).
- Sealing: Dedicated molded gasket made of NBR rubber.
Technical parameters
- Thread type: External inch BSP (G)
- Claw spacing: 40 mm
- Total width: 55 mm
- Working media: Water, compressed air, light chemicals
