BALL NIPPLE PN-65/M-73138
Ball nipples for welding - power hydraulic connections
Used in hydraulics for connections in oil systems. Made of free-cutting steel, covered with an anti-corrosion O-zinc layer in white passivation. Available in a light version (L – up to 16 MPa) and a heavy version (S – up to 32 MPa). Designed for welding. We also offer other fittings designed for welding, such as straight welding connectors / BALL NIPPLE FOR WELDING
What are ball nipples?
Ball nipples are a category of fasteners used in hydraulic installations that allow connecting hoses or hydraulic components with seamless pipes or other elements. Thanks to their unique design, ball nipples provide high tightness. A union nut is placed on the ball nipple and the other part is welded to the pipe or another element, resulting in a tight hydraulic connection. The nipples have a cone, which can be replaced by a DKL fitting or DKOL.
Construction and specification
Construction: Ball nipples are characterized by a spherical end (cone without an o-ring), which works with a seat of the appropriate profile (DKL, DKOL). Their construction allows fitting even with minor inaccuracies in the positioning of the elements. Materials: Most often made of carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on environmental requirements. The surface is covered with a protective layer, e.g., zinc or zinc-nickel, which increases corrosion resistance. Sizes: A wide range of sizes, from small diameters (e.g., DN6) to large (e.g., DN42), to meet various industrial needs.
Application of ball nipples
Ball nipples are used in hydraulic and pneumatic installations where reliability and tightness of connections are essential. Typical applications include: power hydraulic systems in construction and agricultural machinery, chemical and petrochemical industry, water and oil systems in heavy industry, installations in mobile and stationary machines.
