Hydraulic nuts (union nuts) manufactured according to the PN-65/M-73139 standard designed for connections with a cutting ring correspond to the requirements of the DIN 2353 / DIN EN ISO 8434-1 standard. Nuts are a component of complete compression fittings, which some call screw-in fittings. Nuts are used for biting the cutting ring onto the tube (fitting + ring + nut). Tightening the nut causes the cutting ring to tighten on the hydraulic tube and create a permanent connection. What is a nut and how is it constructed ?
