28 mm die designed for SAMWAY P20HP crimping machines and P20AP is responsible for the correct transfer of the crimping force onto the hydraulic hose ferrule. It is a working element of the crimping head that directly affects the accuracy and repeatability of the manufactured hoses. The 28 mm size is used when crimping specific combinations of hydraulic hoses and ferrules. Maintaining the correct die size is essential for achieving the correct dimension after crimping and the tightness of the finished hose.

In workshops performing a large number of hose assemblies, dies are parts subject to natural wear. Visible signs of wear on the working surface, uneven crimping, or deterioration in the quality of the hoses produced may indicate the need to replace the element.
