The press crimps four-wire hoses – 4SP up to 1 1/2″ diameter (DN40 inside the hose). The crimper crimps up to 2SN hoses to DN50 diameter! Lightweight and easy to use, ideal for mobile services. We also offer pneumatically driven crimpers (just connect to a compressor). If you need a smaller press, check model P16HPZ. The P20HPZ press, due to its capabilities, is ideal for large mobile hose services (construction machinery service etc.).

Large head, greater possibilities

The P20HP crimper is one of the largest manual crimpers available for crimping hydraulic hoses. Because the crimper head is very large, it has a very wide range of applications. We can crimp all types of hydraulic hoses, as well as pneumatic hoses, fuel hoses for gasoline, oil, air conditioning hoses, low-pressure hoses - in short, everything that fits into the crimper head. The crimper has a very high crimping force and can therefore also be used for crimping textile ropes or steel ropes.

Quick die change system and die racks

Since 2024, the crimper has been available in a version with a die rack and a handle for quick die replacement. This quick-change system consists of placing 8 dies onto the handle using a special tool and then attaching all dies at once into the crimper head.

Ideal solution for service vehicles, mobile service

This type of crimper is very popular among companies in the construction industry. The crimper is owned, among others, by road construction companies. The press has great capabilities while maintaining a low weight, making it an ideal solution for mobile services (service vehicles). The P20AP also comes in a compressed air version (model P20AP), which is powered by compressed air where you only need to connect a pneumatic hose and the hydraulic-pneumatic pump does the pumping, so we don't have to do it manually.

What hose size does the P20HP model crimp?

Hose sizes the crimper crimps: (internal diameter of the hose): these are 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, which are equivalents of 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch hoses. The P20HP manual press is equipped with interchangeable sets of dies (crimping segments), the crimping dies are included with the machine. The crimper and the entire set also include an Enerpac manual pump. The press is ready for work.

How to crimp hydraulic hoses on a manual crimper?

How to crimp hoses on a manual crimper? The answer is very simple: we take the crimping table in hand and then look at what hose we have to crimp, what hose diameter with how many braids we need to crimp - we look at the table and check the dimension the crimping ferrule should have after crimping. If we already know the crimping diameter dimension, then we select the appropriate crimping dies available with our crimper. The principle is simple - we choose the dies closest in size to the size we need to crimp, then use a micrometer to add the appropriate diameter; after setting the diameter and installing the appropriate dies, we crimp the hose until the required diameter is reached. A control lamp installed in the machine informs us that the diameter has been reached - when the lamp lights up, we stop pumping and check if the diameter of the crimped ferrule on the hose is the same as in the crimping table; if it is the same, we are certain that the hose has been crimped correctly.
