NPT / NPTF Reducers

What are NPT bushings? NPT (National Pipe Thread) bushings are specialized hydraulic fittings used to create leak-tight connections in power hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial installations. Thanks to the NPT tapered thread, the bushings provide an excellent seal without the need for additional sealants. They are indispensable in applications requiring resistance to high pressure and temperature.

The following category includes differential bushings ( steel threaded reducers ). On one side an NPTF male thread, on the other side an NPTF female thread. NPT / NPTF threads are tapered threads ( the thread is not uniform along its entire length ) and are designed for the highest pressure ( 700 bar ). These types of threads can be found in various types of hydraulic tools ( ENERPAC tools ). Differential bushings are designed for reducing thread size - using a differential bushing, we can, for example, reduce the thread of a ready-made high-pressure hose for a pump, a crimping machine, or another component.
