Cutting ring for pipe
Cutting rings for seamless precision pipes. Cutting rings, colloquially called "barrels", are intended for cutting onto seamless precision pipes designed for power hydraulics. The rings are called metric because they are designed for pipes in the metric system - for pipes with an outer diameter in sizes 5, 6L, 8l, 10l, 12l, 15l, 16l, 18l, 20S, 22l, 25S, 28L, 30S, 35L, 38S, 42L. For the rings, we also have union nuts for the ring. To properly select the elements for the connection, we must choose the same pipe size: for example, a 6L pipe ring + 6L pipe nut + 6mm hydraulic pipe on the outside. Technical parameters : execution : free-cutting steel, galvanized or oiled, hardened rings (hardened at the appropriate temperature). Cutting Ring "B3" and "B4" / Cutting Ring "B3" and "B4"; TN/TD 88. Check also : installation instructions for cutting rings. The offer also includes devices for installing cutting rings.
What is a cutting ring applied to a pipe?
A cutting ring is a key component used in hydraulic systems, acting as a connector to ensure a reliable and tight connection of pipes with other system components. Its design allows it to be placed on the pipe and then tightened, resulting in permanent seating and tightness of the connection. Thanks to its functionality, the cutting ring is widely used in hydraulic installations operating under high pressure. The cutting rings offered in the Hydron store stand out for their high-quality workmanship and precise fit to standard pipes. They are manufactured from high-quality steel, which guarantees resistance to high pressures, temperatures, and the influence of external factors such as corrosion. The ring's design allows for an even distribution of pressure during tightening, which minimizes the risk of pipe damage and increases the durability of the entire hydraulic system.
Application of cutting rings
Cutting rings applied to the pipe are used in a wide range of industries, such as heavy industry, construction, agriculture, and the automotive industry. They are used in the hydraulic systems of construction machinery, agricultural machines, and industrial equipment, where the reliability and durability of connections are of key importance. They perform well in both high-pressure installations and medium-load systems where precision and tightness are required.
