Pneumatic solenoid valve coil

We offer coils designed for pneumatic solenoid valves. Our range includes alternating and direct current coils with voltages: 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V, 230V. We offer standard coils and slim (smaller) coils. The standard coil hole diameter is 9mm. If you require a different coil, please contact our sales department. Depending on the model, various coil voltages are available. The most popular among customers and available in our stock are direct current (DC): 12V, 24V, and alternating current (AC) 24V, 110V, and 230V. Voltage tolerance ±10% Max. operating temperature +50 °C

What are pneumatic solenoid valve coils?

Pneumatic solenoid valve coils are components that enable the operation of solenoid valves used in pneumatic installations. Their primary task is to convert electrical energy into a magnetic field that controls the valve's movement, opening or closing the air flow. Thanks to them, processes in pneumatic systems are precise, fast, and reliable. Coils offered in the Hydron store stand out for their high-quality workmanship, reliability, and long service life. These products are designed to meet the demands of various industrial applications. Key features include: Durable housing – resistant to moisture, dust, and other environmental factors. Wide compatibility – coils fit various solenoid valve models available on the market. Energy efficiency – low energy consumption while maintaining high performance. Simple installation – possibility of quick assembly and disassembly, which facilitates the maintenance of pneumatic systems. Variety of parameters – available versions with different voltages and frequencies, allowing the product to be tailored to individual needs.

Application of pneumatic solenoid valve coils

Solenoid coils are widely used in various industries, such as: Food industry – control of dosing systems in production lines. Industrial automation – control of pneumatic processes in automated production lines. Transport and logistics – use in pneumatic systems of trucks and machinery. Chemical and pharmaceutical industry – precise control of gas and fluid flow in laboratory and production installations.

Power supply types for solenoid coils

Pneumatic solenoid valve coils come in various power supply variants, allowing for their wide application in many industrial systems. Parameters such as voltage and type of current (AC or DC) are crucial for the proper operation of the device and must be selected according to the installation specifications. Coil power supply – what do 12V, 24V, and 230V mean? 12V coil – This is low-voltage power, often used in mobile pneumatic systems, such as vehicles, agricultural machinery, or devices with limited access to higher voltage. 12V coils are exceptionally safe and energy-efficient. 24V coil – The most popular power supply in industrial systems and automation. 24V power provides safe operation and stability in the performance of solenoid valves, making it a universal choice for many applications. 230V coil – High-voltage coil power supply, typical for installations requiring connection to a standard electrical network. 230V coils are often used in places where access to lower voltage is limited or impractical. AC and DC – differences in current types. AC (alternating current): Coils powered by alternating current operate based on sinusoidal current flow. They are used in installations powered from the electrical grid. Thanks to their design, they are resistant to voltage disturbances, making them a suitable choice in places where installations are exposed to variable working conditions. DC (direct current): Coils powered by direct current use a unidirectional current flow. They are commonly used in industrial applications, especially in automation and control systems. The advantage of DC coils is quiet operation and less heating compared to AC versions.

How to choose the right coil power supply?

Choosing the right voltage and type of current for the coil depends on the specific nature of the installation and its requirements. Here are some tips: If you are using a mobile installation or devices with limited power supply, choose a 12V DC coil. For most industrial and automation applications, 24V DC coils are the ideal choice. In installations powered from the electrical grid, 230V AC coils are often used. Why is different power supply important? The correct choice of power supply affects the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the pneumatic system. A properly selected coil eliminates the risk of equipment damage, minimizes operating costs, and ensures stable operation of the entire system.
