3/2 pneumatic solenoid valves

3/2 pneumatic solenoid valves are used for controlling pneumatic actuators single-and double-acting. They are primarily used in uncomplicated pneumatic systems where control of compressed air flow via an electrical signal is required.

What parameters distinguish 3/2 solenoid valves?

Individual 3/2 pneumatic solenoid valves can differ from each other by several important parameters. One of them is the connection diameter – models are available with connections starting from 1/8 inch diameter. The size of the connections also affects the dimensions of the entire solenoid valve structure.

Depending on the model, the following may also vary: maximum allowable operating pressure and the air flow rate over a specified period. These parameters are important when matching the solenoid valve to a specific pneumatic system and its requirements.

Selecting a pneumatic solenoid valve

Differences in design and technical parameters mean that individual 3/2 solenoid valves can be used in various pneumatic systems. When choosing, it is worth considering primarily the type of controlled actuator, the connection diameter, the required operating pressure, and the appropriate air flow.
