Metric straight AB fittings
Straight AB swivel fittings metric - internal thread / external thread
Straight AB fitting – what is it? A straight AB fitting is a hydraulic fitting component used to connect hydraulic hoses, pipes, and other hydraulic system components. It is characterized by a straight design and allows for the connection of two elements with the same thread diameters, ensuring tightness and strength even under high-pressure conditions. A straight AB fitting features a metric thread nut with a 24° cone seat on one side and a metric external thread on the other. Application: Used in hydraulics for connections in oil systems. Made of free-cutting steel, coated with an anti-corrosion O-zinc layer in white passivation. Available in a light version (L – up to 16 MPa) and a heavy version (S – up to 32 MPa). Our offer also includes straight fittings with inch and JIC threads. Fittings are also available in reduction versions. Manufactured according to DIN 2353.
Swivel nut reduction connectors - metric thread reduction
Straight AB fittings are available in two thread variants: With the same thread sizes, meaning both ends have identical parameters, so they can be used for direct connection of hoses and pipes without the need for reductions. Reduction version – known as a Swivel nut reduction connector, allows for connecting elements with different thread diameters, enabling the reduction of the hose diameter in the hydraulic system. A swivel nut reduction connector is, simply put, a metric thread reduction from internal thread to external thread.
