PLASTERING HOSES
Hoses for machine plastering units designed especially for the conveyance of semi-liquid abrasive materials, i.e., gypsum plasters, cement-lime plasters, masonry mortars, floor screeds, fireproofing materials, and insulation materials. Flexible rubber hoses designed for gypsum, plaster, concrete, and mortar. SEMPERIT hoses are characterized by very high durability. We also offer other industrial hoses: for various applications.

Flexible abrasion-resistant plastering hoses for plastering machines
Plastering Hoses (Mörtelschläuche) are specialized, high-pressure industrial hoses designed for the pressure pumping of plastering mortars, gypsum plasters, cement-lime plasters, self-leveling compounds, liquid screed, fine-grained concrete, and finishing coats. They are a key component of machine plastering units, mortar pumps, and silomats from brands such as PFT, Kaleta, Putzmeister, Maltech, Euromair, or M-Tec. They are characterized by exceptional resistance to internal abrasion caused by quartz, sand, and aggregate particles, as well as high flexibility facilitating the operation of the plastering gun on scaffolding and inside buildings. The use of abrasion-resistant natural rubber (NR) and synthetic rubber (SBR) compounds with a copper antistatic wire guarantees safe and continuous operation without the risk of blockages, wear, or electrostatic shocks.
Application and technical characteristics of plastering hoses
Abrasion-resistant hoses for plastering and gypsum application have been constructed to withstand the extreme mechanical friction accompanying the pumping of dense construction mixtures at a working pressure of up to 40 bar (with a burst pressure of 120 bar).
- High abrasion resistance (inner layer): The inner tube is made of black, smooth natural or synthetic rubber with an abrasion index according to DIN 53516 / ISO 4649 of less than 35–70 mm³, which prevents the walls from being worn down by aggregate.
- Antistatic protection (R < 10^6 Ω): A built-in copper antistatic wire or conductive rubber compound effectively dissipates electrical charges generated by the friction of dry and wet material.
- Textile braid reinforcement: High-tensile strength synthetic braids prevent the hose from swelling and kinking while working under high pressure.
- Pin-pricked outer layer: The outer shell made of EPDM/SBR rubber is resistant to abrasion, ozone, UV radiation, and atmospheric factors, while the pin-pricking process eliminates the risk of gas bubbles forming.
- Popular sizes for units: Availability of nominal diameters from DN 25 (1") – commonly used for plastering guns, to DN 35, DN 40, and DN 50 (2") used in main transmission lines and flooring units.
Why choose plastering hoses at the HYDRON store?
Plastering and gypsum hoses offered by the HYDRON store (including recognized series such as Semperit SM40/SM2, M-FLEX PLASTER 40 bar, and INTOTUB) meet the stringent safety standards EN ISO 3861 and TS 5928. They maintain an excellent bending radius and flexibility even at low ambient temperatures, which significantly improves the routing of lines across floors and scaffolding. Strict quality control excludes rubber delamination under the influence of pressure spikes in the pump. To create a full plastering set, we recommend matching accessories from our range, such as flexible industrial hoses, dedicated industrial and plastering couplings, durable GBS clamps and hose clamps and universal hydraulic quick-release couplings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the working pressure of professional plastering hoses?
Standard plastering and gypsum hoses operate at a working pressure of 40 bar (4.0 MPa). They have a triple safety factor (3:1), meaning their burst pressure is at least 120 bar.
Why is abrasion resistance crucial when choosing a plastering hose?
Mortars flowing under high pressure contain sand, quartz, and minerals with abrasive properties. Using a rubber compound with an abrasion rate below 50 mm³ according to the DIN 53516 standard prevents rapid wearing of the inner walls and extends the life of the hose.
What does the presence of a copper wire in a gypsum and mortar hose mean?
The friction of dense construction mixtures against the hose walls generates electrostatic charges. A copper grounding wire (copper antistatic wire) built into the braid dissipates the voltage, protecting the plasterer from dangerous and painful static electricity shocks.
What plastering hose diameters are used in units?
The DN 25 (1") hose is the most popular choice for connecting a plastering gun due to its low weight and high flexibility. DN 35, DN 40, and DN 50 hoses are used in the main discharge sections from the unit or flooring pump.
