What is a 2SN hydraulic hose?

The 2SN hydraulic hose is one of the most popular types of hoses used in power hydraulics. It is characterized by a double steel wire braid construction, which provides exceptional resistance to high pressures and excellent flexibility. Construction of a double-braided hose:

Inner layer made of black synthetic rubber resistant to oils and water. Outer layer made of black synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion, oils, weather conditions, and ozone. Double-braided hoses have reinforcement in the form of two high-strength steel wire braids. Hoses can be used for: - hydraulic fluids compliant with ISO 6743-4, except for HFD R, HFD S, HFD T (from -40C to +100C), - water solutions (from -40°C to +70°C), - water (from 0°C to +70°C), - compressed air (from 0°C to +80°C). Hoses are not intended for fluids containing castor oil and esters.  Operating temperature: Hoses intended for operation at temperatures from -40°C to +100°C Short-term up to +125°C. The working pressure of 2SN hoses is higher than single-braided hoses (1SN), hence hoses from this group are currently among the most commonly used in all types of machines and devices based on power hydraulics.

2SN hose manufacturing according to EN853 standard
