Metric fittings with O-ring DKOL, DKOS
Hose crimp fittings with metric internal threads with O-rings and a 24-degree cone.
DKOL fittings are the most popular metric thread hose crimp fittings. This type of fitting is most common in countries such as Poland and Germany. Fittings intended for crimping on all types of hoses (hydraulic, thermoplastic, and others). The fittings allow for creating leak-tight connections in high-pressure hydraulic systems. DKOL fittings are equipped with a metric internal thread (nut) and a 24° cone, which ensures their versatility and wide application. In Poland, DKOL fittings are referred to as P51 fittings or as IT (internal thread) fittings. Metric DKOL and DKOS fittings are available in straight and elbow versions DKOL90 and elbow DKOL45
Classification of fittings into light and heavy series
DKOL fittings are available in light (L) and heavy (S) series, which differ in operating pressure parameters and applications. These fittings are also divided into 2 subgroups: light version (L) fittings and heavy version (S) fittings. DKOL and DKOS fittings (fittings with O-rings) are an improved version of the old DKL and DKS fittings (fittings without O-ring) and can be used interchangeably (DKOL instead of DKS). Fittings with O-rings provide better sealing. Fittings without O-rings have been replaced by fittings with O-rings. Check what is the difference between DKOL and DKOS fittings.
Application of metric DKOL fittings
DKOL fittings are mainly used in power hydraulics, enabling: Creation of durable connections in hydraulic hoses. Connection of lines in high-pressure systems. Connection of flexible hoses to installation components equipped with cone seats. Typical application industries include: Power hydraulics, e.g., in construction and agricultural machinery. Chemical and food industries where reliable connections are necessary. Metric fittings are basically divided into 2 groups: fittings with an O-ring (DKOL) and fittings without an O-ring (DKL). In both cases, the seal is provided by a 24° angle cone.
