DKR 45º / DKOR 45º (C15) elbow fittings
DKR45, Bent BSP fitting with internal thread, 60º cone
Fitting in a 45º degree angle version, spherical bent cooperating with a 60-degree seat and BSP thread. One of the most popular types of inch fittings. Bent fitting (elbow) at an angle of 45 degrees - designed for crimping on hydraulic hoses in places where the situation requires it and the use of straight DKR (C11) fittings or bent at a 90-degree angle DKR90 (C12) would be impossible. Fittings made of free-cutting steel covered with zinc plating, which protects against corrosion. We also offer BSP inch connectors cooperating with this type of threads. The offer also includes 45-degree elbows, which can replace this type of fitting. In Poland, this type of fitting is marked as C15, which means the same as DKR45.

DKR 45° inch C15 fittings – bent BSP hydraulic crimp fittings with 60° cone
DKR 45° fittings from the C15 group are professional hydraulic crimp fittings bent at a 45-degree angle, equipped with a swivel nut with British Standard Pipe Parallel thread (BSP / G) and a sealing spherical head. They are used in power hydraulic systems where routing hoses at an angle facilitates installation and prevents an excessive hose bend radius in tight machine spaces. The seal is based on the contact of the spherical head surface with a 60° cone seat (e.g., in AGR type connectors), which ensures complete tightness at high operating pressures. The design with a swivel nut eliminates the occurrence of torsional stresses in the pressure hose structure during tightening. These elements are a recognized connection standard in agricultural, construction, forestry equipment, and stationary industrial installations.
Application and technical characteristics
DKR 45° C15 elbow fittings are designed for routing hydraulic lines in places with limited installation space. The 45° bend reduces mechanical stresses occurring at the connection of the hose to the connector or device port, eliminating the risk of kinking the flexible hydraulic hose.
- Geometry and sealing: Sealing is achieved by pressing the spherical head against the internal 60° cone (according to the BSP standard). The version bent at an angle of 45° facilitates smooth installation routing.
- Thread standard: Parallel British Standard Pipe thread BSP (G) in dimensional ranges from 1/8" to 2" (according to ISO 8434-6 and BS 5200).
- Pressure resistance: Depending on the nominal diameter (from DN05 to DN50) and the hose type, components work at specified operating pressures ranging from 160 bar to over 400 bar.
- Materials and protection: The standard version made of 11SMnPb37 free-cutting steel is protected by a galvanic zinc coating with white passivation, which provides protection against corrosion and atmospheric factors. Stainless steel versions AISI 316L / 1.4571 are produced as an option.
- Compatibility with working media: Adapted for the continuous transfer of mineral and synthetic hydraulic oils, water-oil emulsions, glycols, and water at specified temperatures from -40°C to +100°C (short-term up to +125°C).
Why choose HYDRON components?
The DKR 45° C15 elbow fittings supplied by HYDRON are manufactured with strict dimensional tolerances according to ISO 8434-6 and BS 5200 standards. The precisely made spherical head profile and nut thread guarantee a perfect fit in the seat without the risk of micro-leaks under the influence of shocks or pressure spikes. The use of high-quality free-cutting steel and a thick layer of zinc plating increases the mechanical and chemical resistance of the connection. To create a complete, safe hydraulic system, we recommend matching appropriate crimping sleeves and using professional hose crimping machines from our offer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When should a DKR 45° fitting be used instead of a straight DKR C11?
A DKR 45° fitting is used in situations where a direct straight connection would force too sharp a bend in the flexible line. Using a 45° angle softens the hose routing radius, protecting it from damage and ensuring correct medium flow.
Does the DKR 45° fitting fit standard AGR connectors?
Yes. The DKR 45° fitting has an internal inch BSP thread and a 60° spherical head, making it fully compatible with male AGR (C21) connectors with an external BSP thread and a 60° internal cone.
What nuts are used in DKR 45° C15 fittings?
Depending on the production version, there are designs with a crimped nut, a nut with a locking wire (ND), or a loose nut (NL). Each of them ensures reliable tightening of the sealing head to the connection seat.
Does the C15 fitting require additional seals, such as an O-ring?
The standard DKR 45° C15 fitting seals on a metal-to-metal conical connection (spherical head on a 60° cone). Versions with an additional O-ring (DKOR 45°) are a soft-seal variant, but the classic C15 version does not require any rubber seals.
