TWIN HYDRAULIC HOSES 

Double hoses ( joined / bonded ) 

Twin hydraulic hoses is the name for a specific type of hydraulic hoses joined (connected) to each other. Another name for this type of hose is TWIN hoses ( from English = twin ) Twin hoses are used mainly in forklifts - these hoses wind on rollers at the mast. Thermoplastic hoses are relatively stiff, which is why more and more often twin rubber hoses ( 1SC, 2SC ). Twin hoses are used in forklifts, basket lifts, etc. 

Selection of appropriate ferrules

For thermoplastic hoses with steel braid, 1SN crimp ferrules are used; for thermoplastic hoses with textile braid, thermoplastic ferrules are used - smooth inside so that they do not damage the textile braid when crimping the hose. 

Characteristic features of twin hoses : 

• smooth outer surface 
• hoses bonded together 
• low weight ( 60 lower than standard hydraulic hoses
