THERMOPLASTIC HOSES 1SN/2SN

Lightweight, flexible hose designed for oil hydraulic systems, gases, air, fuels, water-based fluids. Thermoplastic hoses are hoses that have a slippery outer surface ( not wrapped as in the case of standard hydraulic hoses ) Thermoplastic hoses come in versions with textile or aramid braiding ( one or two ) R7, R8 or in versions with steel braiding ( 1SN or 2SN ) The following category includes hoses in the version with steel braiding - the reinforcement inside the hose consists of one or two steel braids. 

How do thermoplastic hoses differ from standard ones ? Very low mass (even up to 60% lower compared to rubber hoses), thermoplastics are characterized by a compact design (small outer diameter relative to the inner diameter), small bending radius, good chemical resistance of the inner layer to hydraulic fluids and chemicals, very smooth inner surface reducing flow losses, resistance to aging, ozone, and UV radiation. 

This type of hose is used, among others, in aerial platforms, forklifts, paint sprayers, and others 

Technical parameters 

• Inner layer: polyester.
• Reinforcement: steel braid.
• Outer layer: micro-perforated polyurethane.
• Working temperature: from -40°C to +93°C (for water and air up to +65°C).
