1. 90° BSP / ORFS elbow fittings (Symbol: 1FG9-OG / XWEE OR)

Designed for connecting installation elements at a right angle. They are equipped with an external connection thread BSP with a locknut and O-ring seal (the part screwed into the body of a pump, distributor or actuator) and an external ORFS thread with a flat face and an O-ring groove for the hose. In the HYDRON range, we have a full scope of sizes, from compact 9/16"x18 ORFS up to powerful connections with a size of 2"×12 ORFS.

2. 45° BSP / ORFS elbow fittings (Symbol: 1FG4-OG / XWEEOR45)

An excellent solution for places with limited assembly space. The gentler 45° curve significantly reduces hydraulic hose stress, preventing kinking and extending the lifespan of the entire line. We offer very popular size combinations, guaranteeing a perfect fit for every type of machine.

Why choose the ORFS flat seal (ISO 8434-3 / SAE J1453 standard)?

The ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) standard with a flat face seal is considered the most perfect in terms of tightness in high-pressure technology:

• Total elimination of leaks: A flexible O-ring pressed against the flat face of the female connector creates a barrier preventing any micro-leaks.
• Vibration and pressure surge resistance: The connector's design perfectly dampens vibrations and is resistant to sudden pressure surges in the system.
• Repeatable assembly: Flat surfaces do not undergo plastic deformation during tightening, allowing for multiple disassembly and maintenance of lines without the need to replace fittings.
• High working pressures: Our connectors work safely at pressures ranging from 160 up to 630 bar (depending on the size and chosen light or heavy series version).

Highest manufacturing quality: free-cutting steel and acid-resistant steel

All adapters and elbow fittings available in the HYDRON store are characterized by the highest precision of manufacture from materials that meet strict quality standards. Standard connections are produced from high-grade free-cutting steel protected with a durable anti-corrosion coating (white passivation zinc). For the most demanding operating environments (e.g., in contact with aggressive chemicals, saline, or in difficult marine conditions), we also provide connectors made of acid-resistant / stainless steel AISI 316 / AISI 1.4571.

1. Caliper measurement: Measure the outer diameter of the ORFS thread and the BSP connection thread.
2. Search by the "thread/thread" pattern: Always enter parameters in the search engine from the smaller thread to the larger one (e.g., by typing 1/2 / 9/16 the search engine will immediately show all parts having a 1/2" BSP thread on one side and a 9/16" ORFS on the other).
